Croatia’s Central Statistics Bureau reports that Croatia exported leather and leather products worth US$39.4 million in the first four months of this year, as compared with $30.5 million in the same period in 2005. Croatia imported the same types of commodities worth $48.6 million in the January to April period, as against $44.5 million in the corresponding period last year.

Serbia’s Statistical Office reports that Serbia exported leather and leather products worth $41.9 million in the first four months of this year, as compared with $37.1 million in the same period last year. Serbian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to April period were worth $72.3 million, as against $56.6 million in the corresponding period in 2005.

Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reports that Israel exported leather and leather products worth $5.2 million in the first four months of this year, the same figure as in the corresponding period in 2005. Israel imported the same types of commodities worth $29.3 million in the January to April period, as against $28.2 million in the same period last year.
