We’re in the business end of the second day at Première Vision Paris, and while the other halls for accessories, manufacturing, fabrics, etc. are shoulder to shoulder − and one must extend some sympathy for the long lines for the ladies’ room − leather, in Hall 3, is more muted.

However, adhering to the Première Vision philosophy of quality over quantity, the strength of buyers here is of a particularly high standard, and the overall consensus from exhibitors is that business has been brisk, especially compared to day one, which was decidedly quiet.

The hope is their mission can be maintained in light of robust expansion with leather added to the New York show starting last month, another show in Paris rolled out on 6 & 7 July dedicated to the launch of the Autumn/Winter 2017−18 collections, and rumblings of another show to launch in December. More details on that to follow soon.
