The high-end upholstery manufacturer will return to High Point Market this month with new investment focused on speedier delivery and line expansion. Plans to expand into new styles and categories have also been drawn up.

Rob Arguelles, new partner at the company, has been credited with the progress. Thanks to his investment the tannery have been able to cut delivery times on customised products in half, with further improvements expected.

The production team now plans to expand the company beyond its traditional roots and into new designs.

Arguelles himself was drawn to Old Hickory Tannery’s commitment to 100% domestic production.

Old Hickory Tannery is also looking to leverage sales opportunities in multiple distribution channels, including bricks-and-clicks, bricks-and-mortar and pure ecommerce.
