This partnership brings together the multi-year knowledge and expertise on a range of patented aluminosilicate and zeolite technologies from both companies. It will create a strong platform for the leather industry, providing an alternative tanning technology based on zeolites, which is sustainable, produces quality leathers and offers operational advantages.
Smit & Zoon recognizes the efforts of Mr. Marco Robbiati and his team in developing zeolite tanning agents (Atoxitan®) during the past years.
